Terms of Sale

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude sales taxes, delivery and installation unless stated. Prices and availability can change without notice. Products shown as "request a quote" have no public price: a quote from our team is not an order until you accept it in writing.

We do our best to display accurate prices, descriptions and photos. If we find an error (for example a price or a description), we may correct it or cancel the order and refund you in full.

The federal goods and services tax (GST, 5%) and the Québec sales tax (QST, 9.975%) are added at checkout where applicable, based on the delivery or pickup location.

An order is accepted when we send you a confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example for stock, pricing or fraud reasons) and will refund any amount already paid.

Online payments by card are processed securely by Clover. For large or special orders, we may request a deposit or another payment method, such as an e-transfer or financing. Ownership of the goods passes to you when payment is complete.

Pickup is available in store at 3850 Bd de la Côte Vertu, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1V4, Canada. Bring your order confirmation and a piece of ID. Heavy or oversized products are shipped by freight on request, and the freight cost is quoted separately before you pay. Delivery and installation timelines are estimates, not guarantees. All sales are final: we do not accept returns or exchanges. Damaged or defective goods, cancellations and manufacturer warranties are described in our Shipping, Warranty and Final Sale page, which forms part of these terms.

Specifications, dimensions, electrical requirements and spec sheets come from the manufacturers and may change. Check that a product fits your space, utilities (electricity, gas, water, ventilation) and local codes before ordering. Spec sheets link to the manufacturers' own documents.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the law that cannot be waived, including the legal warranty of quality.

Texts, photos, logos and design on this site belong to Chef Zone Inc. or their respective owners (brands and manufacturers) and may not be reused without permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights. The parties have expressly requested that these terms be drawn up in English and in French; in case of difference, both versions are equally valid.
