Shipping, Warranty and Final Sale

How pickup, delivery, final sales and warranties work for orders from Chef Zone.

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. Pickup in store

Most in-stock items can be picked up at 3850 Bd de la Côte Vertu, Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1V4, Canada during business hours (Mon–Fri 10:00–17:00 · Sat 10:00–15:00). We will tell you when your order is ready. Please inspect your equipment at pickup and tell us right away about any damage.

2. Delivery and freight

Small items ship by parcel. Heavy and oversized equipment (refrigerators, ovens, ranges, prep tables and similar) ships by freight. For these items, send us your delivery address with the freight quote request and we will confirm the cost and timeline before you pay.

At delivery, check the packaging before the driver leaves. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and take photos. Then contact us within 48 hours so we can file a claim with the carrier. Claims cannot be processed without these notes.

Lead times are estimates and depend on stock and the carrier. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, delivery does not include unpacking, positioning or installation.

3. Installation and repair

Professional installation, maintenance and repair are available on request (see our Installation, Maintenance and Repair pages). They are quoted separately. Installing equipment without a qualified technician, or outside the manufacturer's instructions, may void its warranty.

4. All sales are final

We do not offer returns or exchanges. Please check the model, size, capacity, electrical and gas requirements and the dimensions against your space before ordering, and contact us if you need help choosing. We are happy to advise before you buy.

This does not affect your rights if a product is defective, damaged on delivery, or not what you ordered (see section 5), nor the legal warranty of quality that applies by law.

5. Defective or damaged products

If a product arrives defective or damaged, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund. Do not discard the packaging until the claim is settled. Clearance, scratch-and-dent and open-box items are sold as described on their product page; only a defect that is not described there is covered.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel an order before it ships or is ready for pickup by contacting us as soon as possible. Special orders already placed with the manufacturer may be non-refundable or subject to cancellation fees.

7. Manufacturer warranty

New equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, whose duration and conditions vary by brand and product and are stated in the manufacturer's documents. Warranty service is provided under those conditions. The warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance or normal wear. Some brands offer extended coverage on selected products; the product page says so when it applies.

Scratch-and-dent and open-box products are sold as described on their product page and are covered according to the terms shown there. These rules are in addition to the legal warranty of quality that applies by law.
